The “Bagani” actress, Maricar Reyes, has given the people a good tip for a long-lasting relationship and a happy married life. The doctor-turned-actress has been to the Filipino-Chinese songwriter and singer, Richard Poon, for almost 5 years now. In the VLOG “Relationship Matters”, the couple casually talked about the secrets to a happy relationship and shared their opinion about common sayings related to relationships. The couple passed by some opinions about being honest about your past, and this lead them to share their own experience throughout their relationship. Maricar’s past was known to the public and she is a perfect figure that could talk about being honest with your partner about it. According to the actress, she wasn’t a fan of the truth before and she even decided to go with the flow of how things are and avoid everything that may lead to revealing the past. But after a while, the actress felt the need to tell Richard everything and surrender her past as well. She called Richard and told him about his past. She was hesitant after the call but believed that her partner must accept her dark and dirty past to love her. It takes maturity to accept the truth and Maricar agrees with it wholeheartedly. They confessed that being honest has deepened their relationship and is now the foundation of their happy marriage.  The netizens were inspired by the couple’s story!
