Kapuso Star Gabbi Garcia mourns for the death of her beloved grandfather, Nicasio Ortega, today. (July 19, 2018). No official details were released regarding the cause of her grandfather’s death, but the sorrow and pain can be felt from the words that the Kapuso actress left on her post regarding her dearest lolo’s passing. According to her post, her lolo was a big blessing to them. He was the most generous and kind-hearted person that Gabbi knew. The actress also expressed how much she’ll miss her lolo and his silly jokes – especially how proud his lolo is. Grandfather Nicasio would go neighbor to neighbor just to announce, “GABBI GARCIA IS MY APO”. Until now, Gabbi is fascinated about how her lolo showers his love and support to their family. She is also glad knowing that she was able to say the three important words, “I love you”, to his grandfather, even before he went to heaven.  Gabbi witnessed the good life that his lolo has lived and guaranteed that he was able to plant happiness and love in the hearts of many – with the help that he has given when he was still alive.  She asked her grandfather to hug Jesus for her, and that she is at peace to know that his Lolo is happy up in heaven. Lastly, she said that now is his grandfather’s time, to rest. With this, we would like to express our deepest condolences, Gabbi.
