The recent release of the film Jaqueline Comes Home has been the hot topic on social media for over a week now. A lot of netizens are complaining about how biased and unreliable the plot is. Some even  described it as a fictional film rather than a true to life story because of the film’s lack of facts. A talk on boycotting the film is what most netizens want. Instead, they are recommending everyone to watch the documentary Give Up Tomorrow which shows the concrete facts about the 1997 case. Since the case is all over social media, people are requesting for petitions to open the case once more. Famous journalist and personality Raffy Tulfo expressed that with the number of people fighting for the reopening of the case, it isn’t impossible for it to happen. And when it does, let’s hope that justice will be given to those who truly deserve it. May it be Marijoy Chiong, Jaqueline Chiong, Paco Larranaga, and the rest of the Chiong 7.
