Panoorin Ang Matandang Ito na P50 Lang Ang Dalang Pera Papuntang Davao Na Nagpaiyak Sa Marami Dahil Sa Kanyang Kwento Nakakdurog Ng Puso
We never knew what life is inside the jail and what life does the ex-convicts live after their second free stage outside jail. Well just recently, a netizen posted an ex-convicts’ story that brought the readers to their emotional state. According to the post, the bus stopped at Davao Penal Colony (DaPeCol) and an old man boards the bus. He asked the conductor about the fare, but he was 50 pesos short. It was a good thing that an unknown lady gave him the enough fare for him to reach home. He then willingly told his story to the people at the bus. According to the post, he was straight from the Correctional and Penal Farm – imprisoned for 12 years for a crime that he didn’t commit. He accepted the imprisonment just to give an end to the case. He added that no one from his family is aware of what he’s facing in Cebu, and he didn’t have any visitors for his whole stay inside and now that he is free, he is super ecstatic to come home to his parents, wife and kids. He let 12 birthdays, Christmas days and New years pass by without even saying a word to his family. He started crying at the bus because he couldn’t contain how grateful he is to the Almghty God for giving him another chance to live with freedom. He doesn’t have anything with him, just clothes and his certification of discharge. That is everything that he has and he doesn’t have any money with him. The people at the bus gave him extra pocket money to go home and it touched the netizen’s heart to know that there are still people with golden hearts. Now, we hope for a good reunion between the old man and his family!
